I hacked the ljdump Python script someone else wrote to make an untagged entries list exporter:

I tested it on Livejournal and Dreamwidth, and it seems to work, so hooray.  It mmmay work on other LJesque sites, but I don't have accounts on those, so...

If you have input on this, feel free to provide input.  I'm very new to Python, so I'm sure I missed something.

I was out sick yesterday with a throat infection that has caused a lot of coughing and messing with my voice.

When I came in today and started talking to a coworker, she said, "you really were sick yesterday!"

According to MajorLeagueRumors.com, the M's are close to making a deal for Casey Kotchman that will involve Bill Hall going to the Red Sox. The same site says that Beltre has agreed to sign with the Red Sox and that Franklin Gutierrez will ink a four year deal with the Mariners. I've cut and pasted the chatter from the website below and put it all behind a cut. Comments?

I was at a Borders in Ohio this afternoon when I decided to read the newest PostSecret book. I discovered that a secret written on note paper had been tucked into the book. The secret said:
